The DEN Group is a supplier of special designed equipment and systems. We design, fabricate and integrate custom equipment to meet clients’ manufacturing needs. Examples of fabricated equipment and integrated systems include:
- High intensity laser light cutting of plastic – Integrated system includes an automatic feed, placement, and eject conveyor system with operator friendly computerized controls.
Advantage: System provides an automated method of rapid separation of plastic
pieces versus a manual labor method. Rapid payback based on labor savings,
higher throughput, and consistent quality.
- Cooling Forming Equipment/Systems – This system is designed per client specific application where the cooling of molten chemicals from a liquid to a solid state is required. Chemicals, foods, adhesives, plastics, fertilizer and other materials can be cooled into uniform small shaped pieces.
Advantage: 1) One step cooling and forming of molten materials; 2) Non-direct
contact with the coolant/water means this system can be used to cool/form
hygroscopic materials; 3) Uses only 15 – 20% of floor space used by cooling
belts; 4) Does not require an end-of-line rotary cutter; 5) Less capital intensive
and lower operating expense versus other forming methods.

We also represent other specialty equipment. One such specialty equipment is an adhesive detection system that can be retro-fitted to client’s packaging equipment to confirm the presence of adhesive on envelope, folding carton and other machinery. Client programs a desired glue pattern into the user-friendly control panel and any variance to this pattern will trigger a response. This system operates “stand-alone” which means the controls for the existing machinery do not need to be modified. This system is especially effective on high-speed adhesive application lines, e.g. envelopes, and is cost effective.
